Thereafter MEP Esther Herranz García (Spain), the EPP Group and ASAJA endorsed this initiative aiming to promote European agriculture, rural development, while valuing the fundamental role played by young farmers in this domain.
The 6th edition of the Congress will take place in the European Parliament, Brussels on 26 March 2020 and is co-organized by MEPs Nuno Melo (Portugal), Mairead McGuinness (Ireland), Herbert Dorfmann (Italy), Juan Ignacio Zoido Álvarez (Spain) and Asim Ademov (Bulgaria).
🌱 Today our 5 MEPs Host had a fruitful meeting with Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture 🇪🇺
Over 300 participants from across Europe, among which are young farmers, policy-makers and agricultural stakeholders, join the Congress to engage in an open discussion on the challenges and opportunities faced by young farmers.
The Congress is an excellent opportunity for our young farmers to present their innovative projects. Innovation plays a crucial role in helping European agriculture to meet the challenges of providing food security, while respecting the environment and safeguarding consumers. This year we have 3 categories.
